The PSKI 2 is the perfect accessory when you hit the slopes. It stores a bunch of skiing-related data, including altitude, temperature, and time elapsed. You can look over a day's worth of data, including your altitude over time, hill counter, ski date, total elapsed time, and descent speed tendency. The PSKI2 is also equipped with a chronograph and dual-time alarm. A barometer provides accurate readings of the pressure in mBar, inHg, or mmHg - and can even predict the weather, showing one of four graphical icons. Water resistant to 33 feet.

The altimeter doeners work

I bought this watch for the altimeter. It doesn't work at all. Worse, I have called Pyle's customer service. The first time, I held for 20 minutes just to be transferred to " the watch expert." (Carmen). Of course, I was sent to his vmail. I did not receive a call back. A week later, I tried again. This time, I was able to hold for thirty minutes, before someone quickly transferred me to Carmen's vmail. Of course, there has not been a returned call. I will never try this company again.

Good compass, altimeter, barometer, weather forcast, thermometer watch

This is an update over my original review on Pyle PSKI2 watch. I would rate the watch 4 out of 5 stars now.Pyle technical support determined my 1st watch to be defective and willing to replace the watch. But Amazon overnighted me another watch which is quicker. All the sensors are now working as advertised. The altimeter is quite sensitive to any changes. Since it's just a pressure sensor, I wouldn't consider it to be super accurate. For casual use, it's good enough.One question I have is how the watch sensor behaves when the pressure sensor hole behind the watch gets dirty from daily wear.I'm happy to see Pyle reads their product reviewed by customers. Amazon defective product replacement is great as usual.---------------I have Pyle PSKI2 for a few days. The only sensors that show changes in readings every day are thermometer and compass. Altimeter, Barometer, Ski and Weather Forecast sensors always show same readings every day even after I entered the correct altitude and pressure where I live. The pressure input for those sensors are located at the back side of the watch with a tiny hole.I live in Utah valley which is mostly flat but I'll expect the sensors to show slightly different readings when I travel to different places. I had a Casio Pathfinder watch and sensors would show changes in readings when I travel around in Utah valley. I don't know if PKSI2 requires larger range of altitude environment like skiing in the mountains before the altitude and barometer sensors will read changes in readings.The weather where I live has been mostly cloudy since I got my watch and currently I can't verify if the weather forecast is accurate until it gets sunny.The watch itself is quite comfortable. The analog dial on the right is fake and only there for looks. The watch sample screen display shown at Amazon and the manual is incorrect. Probably for a different model but I can't find such model listed at Pyle site. At least Pyle provides the PDF manual on their site to know how the screen display each function. Other brands such as GSI and Atech that shares the watch technology has web site that I can find nor PDF manual.The reason I said different brands share the watch technology is the watch LCD screen has display function that isn't used by each brand. For example, the top of the LCD screen that shows moon phase on Pyle PKSI2 displays the year for GSI GPDD64ALTI and GAT773TSNI models which are optimized for outdoors functions.Since the watch LCD is mostly active matrix, non-digit value looks much nicer to display letters and objects. That's a big plus over the older outdoor PAW1 model that has "8" to simulate letters.This is specific to the watch I received. The battery CR2032 has completely dry. I had to replace with a new battery before it works.I'll update my review if the sensors start to show changes in readings as I wear the watch for a few weeks and battery life.

The watch is good, easy to read, however the battery was flat on arrival.The instructions are clear and the watch is easy to use, maybe a slightly bigger band is need though.Most men will find it is in the last hole on the band.
